4-Week Professional Home Assistant Programme

4 phases · 4 weeks · 4 modules · 60 hours total

Phase 1

Working Inside a Maltese Home Build the professional mindset and practical foundation required to work inside a Maltese household. Students learn Maltese family culture, household routines, communication, privacy, professional behaviour, organisation, cleaning and safety.

Phase 2

Maltese Cooking & Household Nutrition Learn to prepare familiar Maltese home meals while developing food safety, nutrition, shopping, meal planning and kitchen organisation skills. The focus is on simplicity, consistency, cleanliness, nutrition and confidence rather than professional chef training.

Phase 3

Elderly Assistance & Companionship Develop the skills needed to provide safe, respectful and non-clinical support to older adults, including mobility assistance, companionship, dementia awareness, daily routines, safety and emergency response.

1 week

Phase 4

Professional Practice & Employment Turn practical skills into workplace readiness through professional communication, documentation, employment interviews, realistic employer simulations and final assessment.
